See ROSE Go hosting a luxe plus size shopping event in support of non-profit Bottomless Closet. Join sRg along with your favorite plus size brands, byVINNIK, Castlecliff inclusive jewelry, Mayes NYC, and Pari Passu as we shone the light on this wonderful organization.
It all started when cofounder, Erin Cavanaugh, received a direct message from Bottomless Closet stating the their executive director, Melissa Norden, had seen See ROSE Go in a WWD interview and would like to connect.
During their phone call, Erin was stuck with Melissa’s passion and experience- see more on our sRg Talks, Instagram Live with Melissa here. Melissa, a long time non-profit NYC attorney, notes her commitment to plus size inclusivity. As a woman wearing a plus size herself, Melissa is dedicated to ensuring all women who walk through their doors have access to clothing needed to nail that interview, feel confident and their best self. They also provide wardrobes once women receive their new job.
This empowering organization deserves to be highlighted and supported for helping women enter the workforce and make their impact in the world. Melissa noted a specific need for plus size professional clothing. Our plan is to develop a long term commitment to support these women and Bottomless Closet.
First, we mapped out a plan working with Melissa to align with their needs. Second, we sent an inventory donation of the Multitasker Pants. Third- we started calling our friends to host this amazing and impactful event. As women supporting women, this event is dual purpose to raise awareness for Bottomless Closet and raise donations/ fundraise. We are asking all attendees to bring a plus size clothing donation while 20% of the proceeds for the event will be donated directly to Bottomless Closet.
